More Than a Family Business

This photo wasn’t taken on a job site.

It was taken after one of those proud family moments that remind us why we work so hard in the first place.

Like most family businesses, ours doesn’t really have a clear line between work and life. We celebrate birthdays together, show up for school events, answer client calls in the truck, and somehow still end up talking about floor plans around the dinner table.

Jerry has spent more than 40 years in construction and still enjoys solving problems more than talking about himself. Around here he’s Jerry, but to his grandsons he’s ‘GPa’ or ‘Jer Bear’. Those are two titles he wears with just as much pride as “builder.”

Elaine has never been afraid to roll up her sleeves. She and Jerry have remodeled every home they’ve ever owned, turning good bones into homes their family loved. Whether she was helping on the job site, designing model homes, or offering her creative eye on finishes and layouts, she’s always been an important part of the process.

Destiny represents the next generation of Destiny Custom Homes. She works closely with homeowners throughout the design process, material selections, and client communication, helping turn ideas into homes that are both beautiful and functional.

Then there are the boys.

They remind us why homes matter.

A home isn’t just lumber, concrete, or paint colors. It’s where graduations are celebrated, holidays become traditions, muddy shoes pile up by the door, and families gather around the table after long days.

That’s always been the heart of our business.

We’re not trying to build the most homes. We’re trying to build homes where families can create memories of their own.
